My solaris install boots fine with 256 MB allocated to it, but when I allocate more, it just hangs at the "SunOS Release 5.10" black screen. Windows 2K doesn't have that problem, so I know Parallels can boot with higher RAM values.

    Any ideas?

What's the "Overall memory" setting (Parallels -> Preferences) and what is your primary system configuration ?

If you're referring to "Reserved Memory Limit" on the Parallels preferences pane, it is 1624MB. My system is a MacBook Pro, 2.16GHz with 2GB RAM.

I used Solaris 10 x86 update 2 for the install. I can try update 1 (0106) if you think that might be the issue... it seems like others have had it running successfully.
