When running Solaris 10 in a VM I cannot use the pipe " | " or the slash " \ " key in any shell, through either the console or a shell within X, or in apps from the desktop e.g. mail etc. .... also true in CDE desktop. For some reason the keys are not mapping properly. The keyboard selected in Solaris is Generic US English.....
