I installed a Solaris 10 r8 Intel server in v5, and upgraded to v6 a couple of days ago. Now I'm seeing the VM freeze every now and then, and when it comes back I get the following spewed to the console:

Any ideas on if this can be fixed/worked-around?

Go to the virtual machine configuration and change the Hard Disk settings so the hard disks are connected to IDE or SATA instead of SCSI?

    Facing Similar issue

Wookie - Did u resolve your problem?

    I'm having a similar issue on a SunOS 5.6 machine. I've installed this on a Dell SC430.
My server just hangs after a while.

Here's the message seen on solaris console
    scsi: WARNING: /pci@0,0/pci-ide@1f,1/ide@0 (ata0)
    timeout: abort request, target=1 lun=0

The solaris machine has a VM, which is loaded from a remote machine that has the solaris machine mapped (SAN) to load the VM from it. Now I dont know if the msg seen on solaris box is from the VM or from the solaris OS itself. I would imagine its from solaris OS itself, since the VM is loaded remotely by someone else?
