I'm confused about what appears to be conflicting information about Parallels support for Mac OSX 10.6 (Server): After selecting Parallels Desktop 12 at the top and then looking under the 32-bit and 64-bit popdowns, Snow Leopard Server is listed as a supported OS: http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/resources/ This knowledge-base article would seem to indicate that Desktop Parallels 9-10-11 can also support Snow Leopard Server: http://kb.parallels.com/en/123215 This knowledge-base article would seem to indicate that Desktop Parallels 11 would support any version of Snow Leopard Server (10.6, 10.6.3, 10.6.4, 10.6.8). http://kb.parallels.com/en/123276 And, yet, this knowledge-base article shows that Desktop Parallels 9 was the LAST version that supported Snow Leopard Server 10.6.8. http://kb.parallels.com/114381 Could I please have some correct information on this? I just purchased Parallels Desktop 12 with the understanding it supported Snow Leopard Server.
I've currently installed OSX Snow Leopard server on PD 12 on OSX Sierra platform, for using some legacy software. Early days, but all seems to work, with exception of 'draging' when I move individual windows in Quark 9.5, which I'm still trying to resolve.
Hi SimonF2, did you reinstall Parallels Tools manually? Please let us know if you are still having the issue and we are here to help!
Hi Paul, Genius! Worked a treat. Thanks for your help. Sorry for the late response, been stupid busy and only just got round to sorting the issue out. Happy the man.
