I am currently using Build 4.0.3810 on 14 day trial under SL and it is horrible compared to 3.0 under Leopard. How can I test the most current build while in trial mode? When I attempt to download build 3846 I get 403- Forbidden error? In Parallels the update now feature is greyed out??

    I cant use build 4.0.3846

i had a major issue with build 4.0.3846 under snow leopard. i had to uninstall it and re-install the previous build. the problem was that my mac (early 2009 13" unibody) would take around 1.5 to 2 mins to shutdown normally, even if i had not run parallels desktop at all since start up. this indicated a process not quitting and a timeout/s of some kind. the system console log showed many timeout errors from parallels dispatcher and network daemons etc. i tried repairing permissions, re-installing the 4.0.3846 build and same problem. The only way i could fix the problem was by using the previous build 4.0.3810.237520. No more errors and snow leopard back to shutting down in around 5 seconds tops. if anyone else notices this, i hope it helps.
