This seems to have started in just the past week, but I can't figure out what I did, especially since there haven't been any Parallels or Snagit updates! I normally run with Coherence in a dual display configuration. I'm on Windows 7. With Snagit, I'm taking screen captures and I usually use the Object option to capture a window, or a window frame or a button or something. If I'm in Coherence, this no longer works on the main display. Clicking on an object to capture no longer displays the highlight indicating I can capture that object. Clicking ends the capture session, which it never did before. However, I can still capture objects on the secondary display (in Coherence) or on the main display if I switch Parallels to fullscreen mode. Has anybody who uses Snagit in Windows ever seen this? Steve
As usual, I seem to have figured this out on my own just after I posted. I started using fullscreen (PD fullscreen, not Mac OS X fullscreen) but noticed that my second display was not being used even though I have the option to use all displays in fullscreen turned on. Looking in the Displays control panel in Windows, PD saw my second display, but it seemed like my main and second display were on top of each other even though I had Displays set to extend my desktop! I tried uninstalling/reinstalling PD Tools to no avail. Searching the KB, I found http://kb.parallels.com/en/118728 which talks about disabling the option in Mission Control settings for Displays to have separate Spaces. Since this all had been working fine until this week, I didn't think I had touched this setting in ages, and there it was turned on. Turning it off fixed the fullscreen problem and the Snagit problem. I have no idea how this happened. El Capitan update to 10.11.2 maybe (I haven't done the 10.11.3 update yet)? It's the only thing I can think of. Steve
