Smooth scrolling instead of by line

Im running Windows 7 64 bit via Parallels. I'm using the magic track pad. On the Mac side, scrolling is smooth. On the Windows side scrolling is clickety (by line) as if I had a mouse with a scroll wheel that clicks. I've gone into the control panel under mouse properties and dialed the by line scrolling to one line but it's still clickety. How can I get the smooth scrolling that I have on the Mac side over on the Windows side?

I know that setting "number of lines" in scroll properties helps, but it's no replacement for true smooth scrolling. I'm also hoping for a fix for this.

I had exactly the same frustration. I got a pretty good result by changing the "line scrolling" Windows mouse setting to 1, and disabling the "smooth scrolling" option in Parallels (Hardware -> Mouse and Keyboard). Its not silky smooth, but pretty close. Huge improvement over the default config.

Yay! This worked for me as well. Thank you. Much better.
