If you have several VMs with the same OS and software installed, then you never know which App is selected when opening a file via Finder. Open_with shows e.g. CoreDraw(R) 3.2 CoreDraw(R) [1] 3.2 CoreDraw(R) [2] 3.2 CoreDraw(R) [3] 3.2 The worst case is that it opens a new VM because e.g. "CoreDraw(R) [2] 3.2" is not the currently open VM but an inactive one. It would make sense to add the VM's name to these entries: VMXP: CoreDraw(R) 3.2 VMXP: CoreDraw(R) [1] 3.2 VMXP: CoreDraw(R) [3] 3.2 VMXP2: CoreDraw(R) [2] 3.2 or CoreDraw(R) 3.2 on VMXP CoreDraw(R) [1] 3.2 on VMXP CoreDraw(R) [3] 3.2 on VMXP CoreDraw(R) [2] 3.2 on VMXP2 Or - much better - to make them user-editable: CoreDraw 11 CoreDraw 12 CoreDraw X3 CoreDraw 11 (VMXP2) Your thoughts ? -- Harald
