I am using a smartcard to login to my Mac as well as my Win 7 virtual machine on parallels. After I login to Parallels, if I do not release the card reader under devices, and my Mac goes to sleep I cannot log back into the Mac because the card reader is still under Parallels control. I end up having to restart or move the card reader to another USB port. Is there a way to get Parallels to release the attached card reader when the Mac goes to sleep or allow them to be shared by both OS? Thanks for any help!
