Hello! I installed the new version and the results are pretty good. However, I saw some small problems. First two pics are from Event Viewer (I'm using XP Pro SP2), the third shows that some drivers are not WHQL certified and the fourth is from my USB memory stick (A-Data, 256 MB) - as you see it is not properly recognized by Parallels.
Hello, Let me comment the pictures one by one: 1. The error report means that the Parallels Host-Guest Virtual NIC failed to obtain IP-address from Parallels DHCP service. This error doesn't affect primary OS normal operation. Please, make sure that "Parallels DHCP Service" service is started. As well, you may check your primary OS firewall settings. 2. Unfortunately I can't view this picture. Can you please re-attach it? 3. WHQL certification is in our roadmap for future. 4. Parallels Workstation shows the device name reported by your USB device. So, if the device manufacturer prefers to call it's device "Silicon Integraded Systems bla-bla", but sell it under "A-Data" brand, we can do nothing with this
The picture works for me. But I've uploaded it again. About number 4: it still shows wrong size (the real size is 256 MB and Parallels is reporting 1 GB).
Parallels Workstation provides you additional 768 MB of flash memory for free Just joking. We'll try to reproduce it in our testing lab, but most probably this number is also reported by the device. And thank you, I see the pic now. That's rather strange. Which computer name did you give to your guest? Is it the same as your host?
Hmmm, I'm not sure 100% but the answer is probably yes - the same name. I was trying a XP unattended setup kit but I've removed it since then...
