I have an Intel IMac, running build 3188. Previous versions ran fine. In build 3188, it takes a looooong time for Windows to open. Programs barely open. Sometimes after I click on an icon, the arrow just goes away and the program doesn't open. When programs open, they just hang. IEExplorer takes a 20-30-? seconds to open and then after I enter a URL, i get the Program Not Responding message. Other programs are the same. In short, the whole thing is like molasses and nothing works. Don't know what to do. Go to an earlier build? Where are they? Completely uninstall and start over? I'd prefer not to. Thanks
sounds like too much RAM allocated what are the details - the numbers for your installation please? Hugh W
reply to Hugh Thansk for the response. FYI, i did a regular download/upgrade and followed directions. Didn't do anything esoteric. 512 mb for RAM. What else do you need? I'll try to email the screen shots. Bob Fulkerth
More Fulkerth I read some of your threads and noted that in one you discuss installing one version over another. I mentioned in hte last email that I downloaded 3188 and installed it but did not uninstall anything else, but as I recall, those were the instructions. Speaking of senior moments. Bob Fulkerth
