Slow/sluggish mouse in Windows XP gues

Hi,

I have Parallels running Windows XP on openSuse 10.2 host. The mouse seems roughly two or three times slower in Windows than in Linux. Changing the speed in the windows control panel up or down had no effect. Changing the speed in KDE on the host did, but makes the mouse impossible to use in linux.

A search of the forums and google didn't find anything related except the opposite on Vista (http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=6854&highlight=(slow+sluggish)+mouse), with unfortunately no follow-up. I'm hoping that someone hear might have a solution or tell me that they are having the same problem.

Yes, I even tried re-installing it to see if that would make any difference. (it didn't
