I'm running Yosemite and Windows 7 via Parallels 10. I normally leave the virtual machine running and the Mac just sleeps overnight. But when the virtual machine is first activated in the morning it is s-o s-l-o-w. I click on the icon to open Quicken, go get a cup of coffee, come back into the office and wait another minute or more before Quicken finally opens. If I accidentally click the icon again before the app appears I'll get a machine-gun sound in the speakers when it finally does open. The virtual machine will continue to be slow for 30-40 minutes, and then every will zip along like you'd expect. Has anybody else experienced this? More importantly, has anybody managed to fix the problem?
