Slight Issue with Parallels + Final Fantasy XI graphics.

    Hi,

    First of all make sure that DirectX support is enabled on you windows virtual machine: open the virtual machine configuration - click on the "Video" option and make sure that "Enable DirectX support" is checked.

    Also if this game requires Directx 9.* to run it may not work properly because current versions of Parallels Desktop does not have full support of DirectX - it will be implemented in future version.

    Menwhile I would recommend you to make a request to add this game support in the following thread:

    Please note, that in any VM, video card emulated is VESA device not one you have on Mac

    I don't think it needs full Direct 9X support because it's an old game. It runs absolutely fine, the only trouble is that glitch mentioned above (which is a shame, because the glitch stops you seeing mostly anything). I've tried doing the above as you've said but with no luck.

    Any news to fix this in an update?

    Probably you need to try either DirectX Shaders enabled and Disabled (try both)
