My question keeps having Parallels send me to Microsoft, the page is irrelevant to my question however Some web searches give opposing answers. Bear with this dense person.
    Background:
It's simple. I've moved to an M4 Mac from my old Intel Mac.
I was running Windows 10 Pro in Bootcamp on the old Mac
    I have the product key.
    I wish to purchase Parallels
I understand that Parallels automatically downloads Windows 11.
Will the Windows product key suffice to activate my W11 install when using Parallels, or do I need to purchase a new copy of W11?
Would seem to be the case, but I'd like to know before I purchase Parallels

More than likely the Windows 10 key will work (notice the hedging there?). Windows 11 is nothing but Windows 10 with a pretty new face and some new complications. You can try the free version of VMWare to see if it works and then move the VM from there to Parallels easily.
