Ok, I use Parallels a lot and am generally very happy with it. There are a couple of little things that I would really love to be fixed though so if you guys want a break from the hard-core low-level stuff - have a crack at these

    - I use "Spaces" and Parallels keeps on stealing my focus and switching spaces during VM startup and shutdown. I've turned off all animations - but it still does it.

Imagine my workflow - I do a bunch of stuff in Windows and then kick off a shutdown - while this long winded shutdown is in progress - I switch spaces to, say, type an email or something. Windows finishes off it's shutdown and Parallels (for some reason) insists on switching spaces back. This is *really* *really* *really* annoying!! And it's so simple too!

    - I use middle-click in several Mac applications (new tab in Safari being the main one) - But Parallels seems to reprogram the middle-click when it's running to bring up the task switcher! That's pretty annoying too!

    - When I insert a USB device parallels asks if I want to connect this to OSX or the VM. This is a really useful feature and I use it all the time. Sometimes, though the message box will get lost (under some random window somewhere) and I have to play "Hunt-the-message-box" - why doesn't this message attach itself to the Parallels window?

Not a biggie this one - because if I cannot find the window at all (sometimes happens) - I just replug the device and another one comes up somewhere else (I've got better odds with 2 windows!!!)

    Regards,
    Marcus.

    Not a problem in Fusion

I agree. Any word on getting these issues fixed?

I am looking at Fusion because of this "focus stealing" problem. :(
