    Moved from "How to"

When I'm trying to type in Parallels for Mac while in Windows XP and I type Shift 2 for the @ sign, I get the " sign instead. Can anyone help me with this?

    Thanks,
    Chris

I checked in the regional settings within Control Panel and it was originally set to United Kingdom. I set it to United States. Is that what you were referring to?

I found the same thing. I found that the @ symbol is where the " marks are (and visa versa) when I am in XP.

I completeled the below instructions, and that seemed to fix the problem.

Hello, thank you for contacting Parallels support.

RECOMMENDATION: Try to ascertain the keyboard layout

Please define what keyboard layout is in your MacOS and in guest Windows.

To do so in MacOS please open "Language"->"Open International"
window->"Input Menu" and find out what layouts you are using.

In Guest WinXP please open "Control Panel" => "Regional and Language
Options" => "Languages" => "Details" => "Installed Services", where you
    can find the layout.

    Sincerely, Sam.
