I use SIGMAPLOT (from Systat) to produce scientific graphics. It only runs under Windows. Most of the functions seem to work under Parallels. However, it will not export graphs in .PNG or .PSD format. SIGMAPLOT staff insist that the problem is with Parallels. However, this is the only programme which I run which has any problems. Any advice or suggestions appreciated.
please reproduce the issue and send the problem report from Help menu --> Report a problem. Post the report ID here please
What information do you want me to post? I can reproduce the problem consistently. But, to let you reproduce it, you would need a copy of Sigmaplot 12.3, my database and graphics file (a .JNB file) and the instructions of what I did. I can't post the Sigmaplot code and, without that, the other information might not be useful. I don't get a Parallels failure message - just a Windows XP error box. Your advice on what information to post would be appreciated.
that's ok - just reproduce issue locally, in Parallels Desktop top menu go to Help --. report a problem. After you click send there is a popup message with the report ID. I need this id to access all data
sigmaplot figure export problem Hello, I have the same problem as nbirkett, and am anxious to see whether there is a resolution to this problem. I am prompted with a dialog box to type in a filename for the figure file, but no file is ever written. My husband uses Sigmaplot on his Mac via Virtualbox and does not have this problem, so I am inclined to believe that it is indeed a Parallels issue. I generated a problem report as suggested: 21540928. Thanks.
