I recently upgraded from an Intel Mac to an MI Silicon Mac running Sequoia. On the Intel Mac I was using Parallels Desktop 18 Standard edition to run a Sierra VM. After the switch, Parallels no longer worked. I've seen various reports, most of which are beyond my ability to understand, as to whether an upgrade to Parallels 20 would allow me to run an Intel Mac VM. If I could run Sierra as well or better than I was able to on my Intel Mac in Ventura, I'd gladly do the upgrade. I used it infrequently and now rely on my sturdy 2012 MacBook Pro, which actually boots way faster than my Parallels VM ever did, to run older Mac software, including my bookkeeping progra, Business Sense 2.3, which dates to 1990-and for which I've never found a better replacement. Any advice?
