Host machine is a MacBook Pro running Lion. Guest OS is Windows 7/64 Pro. Running this remotely via LogMeIn from an iMac also running Lion.

In every Windows app I've tried, the shift key does not have any effect. To get caps I have to activate and then deactivate Caps Lock. From then on everything is in caps until I activate/deactivate Caps Lock a second time. I also cannot enter numbers from the numeric keypad on my Apple keyboard, I'm forced to use the number row across the top.

I tried optimizing keys for gaming as per the options config mentioned in a thread from last year, but that has no effect.

I sent a problem report a few minutes ago.

Is this something I should open up an actual trouble ticket over?

Trouble ticket opened. This problem appears unique to using LogMeIn. If I remote in using straight VPN the shift and control keys work properly.

I have the same problem and reported it with no reply. Are you guys looking into this? Does anyone from Parallels actually read this forum?

I wouldn't hold your breath. It's been like that for a couple of years, they will assume it is an issue with LogMeIn.
