Sharing home directory does not share all subdirectories

Host is ARM Mac and so is the VM. I am trying to share my home directory on the host with the guest using config.pvs. I have Enabled(=1) HostSharing under SharedFolders, as well as ShareUserHomeDir(=1). I can go to Network-><Home Directory> within finder and see the base directory. Some of the subdirectories appear, such as Music and Movies. But the main ones I want - Desktop, Downloads, Documents - appear empty and I cannot copy into them due to permissions. However, I can copy to and from Music and Movies (and others). Is there some trick to enable these other folders?
