parallels tools created short cuts on both OS desktops path in MS IE 7 \\.psf\hw2\Aaaa_start_page2.htm and in firefox 1.5.* in Mac OS file:///Users/hughw36/Desktop/shared%20winxp%20mac%20os/Aaaa_start_page2.htm I use the same browser home page for both systems I created it myself and it has a silly name to make it easy to spot /Aaaa_start_page2.htm with quick links to all the web sites I use daily and blogger.com dashboard functions for each of my blogs I keep a copy as an attachment in a gmail to myself so i can use it from any computer in the world I have renamed the folder on the mac OS desktop /shared winxp mac os/ hw2 and hw1 are windows folders I created with sub folders / directories where I keep the files I am working on eg \\.psf\hw2\FTM extra back ups\bad ftm another advantage of NEVER yes *NEVER* saving data on a VM is if you make a new VM clone you have immediate access to the same data you worked on minutes ago with Windows explorer you can get onto the Mac Desktop too Hugh W
