Hello, I am running a Windows 11 guest on an M1 MacBook Pro. I am trying to get a game (The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles) running that seems to be very particular about screen resolutions and doesn't like any of the ones my system has on offer. I think they are snobs about aspect ratio or something. One review I read complained that the PC port only offered three resolutions, 720p(1280x720), 900p(1600x900), and 1080p(1920x1080). Those are all 16:9 resolutions and my monitor is 16:10. So I have 1440x900 available and 1600x1050, but none of those and it's causing the graphics to freak out and run everything at super low resolution and not offer any resolution options. This is obviously horrible game design, but I would still like to play my game. I notice other not 16:10 resolutions are available like 1024x768. Is there a way to set the Parallels display device to lost 16:9 resolutions among its available settings?
If anyone else runs into this, or several other issues that Capcom can't be bothered to fix with The Great Ace Attorney, an enterprising Steam user has produced a hack. It fixed things perfectly for me, you can get it at https://github.com/AdmiralCurtiss/dgs_hackfix/releases.
