    Hi!

Has anybody experience with software on a Windows guest/Linux host system which requires a parallel port hardware key?

I run Parallels Workstation on an Ubuntu 6.10 host with Windows XP as guest. The Sentinel SuperPro dongle is attached to the only parallel port of my Laptop. As far as I know is SPP and ECP mode supported by the Sentinel SuperPro key.
dmesg gives me the following information:
    Code:
     dmesg | grep parport0
    [17179591.192000] parport0: PC-style at 0x378, irq 7 [PCSPP]
    [17179593.204000] lp0: using parport0 (interrupt-driven).
parport0 is both read- and writeable for the user which starts Parallels Workstation. The Windows Software states that the Sentinel SuperPro driver is installed but the key is not plugged in (of course, I have connected the virtual parallel port of the workstation to parport0 - and tried also with lp0, the only lpX interface I have).

I would appreciate any help, thank you!
    Cheers,

    Henning
