Parallels 5 has been running great - until a few days ago. I started my XP VM normally, and it failed to boot/load XP (see attached screen shot). If I delete/remove the VM, then create a new VM windows will boot and run once normally. Shut it down and it fails to boot again. I tried setting up two hardware profiles in XP (one for Boot Camp native, one for Parallels), but no joy. It seems like it can't write into boot.ini or something?

Ideas? I really hope the answer isn't 'reinstall Windows from scratch'....

    Thanks,
    George

    Hello George,
this issue is currently under investigation by Parallels. Can you please send us Problem Report from Help > Report a problem on a running VM? Once report is sent, its ID is displayed. You can post it here.
If you have such programs as System Mechanic and Novell Zenworks isntalled on Windows side, please try to reinstall them.
