Hi, I have a Symantec Endpoint Protection software package that has been supplied by the security team to install on a Mac OS device that will be managed by Parallels for SCCM. This software package automatically puts the device in the correct managed folder in the SEP environment, but in order to do that, you need to run the .APP file to install it on the Mac. I understand we can convert a .APP package into a cmmac package that could be created into an 'Application" in SCCM, but this doesn't allow us to install SEP during the build Task Sequence. Anyone know if its possible to install a .APP software package as an SCCM Package, and if so, what does the command line look like? Thanks Matt
FYI - looks like you might need to do this to get it to work for SEP - http://www.applepie.se/symantec-endpoint-protection-12-x-on-osx. Don't need to convert to a cmmac file - just get the PKG file out of the "Create remote deployment package".
