Writing a programming book & want to make sure I start with a clean state each time to emulate the user experience at each phase. Reinstalling OS X each time takes a while. What I'd like to do is save the state after I've configured the new OS install, and just blast it in from some kind of image file. I know the state is saved each time I use the VM, but that's exactly not what I want. I want to roll back to a specific version, which is OS X after install AND after setting language, etc. Would like to do the same for an Ubuntu VM. Thanks!
