Running XP as the guest with OS-X as the host. Am I correct in believing that if I set up my Virtual Machine with a Networking Option of "Networking is not Required", I can run XP with no firewall and no antivirus software, and the installation will be safe? (obviously, what I plan to do in XP does not require me to access the internet)
Yes, you do not need firewall in this case, but antivirus may be still required if you bring files to Vm from outside
