I am using a virtual machine with WindowsXP on it to run a Ventrilo client (since the mac version is a bit lacky on protocols, to say at least), and using world of warcraft on macos x, so that I can communicate via Ventrilo while playing. The problem is when I try to make the push-to-talk key work. The ventrilo client accepts it just when the windows machine got focus of course, but it'd be kinda necessary to be able to press the push to talk while the focus is on WoW... is there a workaround to fix this? Like, being able to send any key to the virtual machine while it has no focus? Thanks in advance for the reply.

I mean, in Ventrilo settings there can be an option that allows a user to choose the needed key combination for push-to-talk function. If it's possible, you can try something like F2. Best regards, Alicia.
