I am running Windows 7 on my macbook pro using Parallels desktop 8 for Mac (expanding disk). Originally I installed it with approximately 60GB. Everything was great until I ran out of disk space which seemed to happen overnight. I don't run that much on it that would or could take up all of that space, but I expanded the disk to 90GB with no additional programs or information being stored on the system and I am now out of disk space again. Is anyone having the same issue? What do I have to do to stop this from happening. Is it because of the "Expanding Disk" setting??
I cannot. I was able to cleanup the disk and delete some items to free up some space for the time being, my main issues it that I added 30BG of disk space and it is gone without adding any other programs or files to the system. I know I read about an issue like this last time I ran out of space, but I could not find it.
I just figured it out...Parallels.log located in C:\windows\Logs. This log file grew to 50+ GB. I deleted it restarted and now I have my space back! Now I just need to figure out how or why this is getting soooo big!
