Question for Andrew or another support member. Can one install both 1970 and 3036 together but in different directories for testing as to not mess up the working configuration? I don't want to run them at the same time just keep production and testing seperated.
No. Parallels includes kernel extensions and there can only be one version of a kernel extension installed at a time.
I thought that might be the case but I also thought that the extensions may only be installed when parallels is running. I think that when Parallels is shutdown no extensions are installed. I really think that Andrew or one of the other Parallels team members need to answer this question. Only they know for sure.
