running bootcamp native / wants 25 windows 8 updates installed

    when I run parallels on my osx 10.8.3, it shows my windows is up to date. when I boot the same os (bootcamp) it wants to install about 25 updates (mostly security). I'm nervous something will get corrupted. should it want to install different updates on parallels than the running bootcamp native?

    Also, native my trackpad does not work. Did parallels affect that?
