Running application using web portal

Hello,

Applications work fine using the Windows client. When I try to use the web portal, I click on the application, and then I get a dialog box that says:

Do you want to Open or Save this file?

Name: App0001.2xa
Type: TSClient.Document, 277 bytes
From: demoServer

If I click "Open" it says it cannot connect with the server.

What do I need to change to make this work properly?

You need to register the extension for MIME support.

See page 67 of the user manual. It is quiet straight forward and works well.

Are you sure you entered the correct server? Default it will use the servername, which probably won't work if you're connecting over the internet.

 

Yes, I am sure I set it on the correct server.

I have checked the MIME settings and they are correct according to the PDF manual.

I get the 2X Web Portal web page, but when i click on an application, it just displays the xml on another page.
