Hi, I just purchased a new Macbook Pro and installed Parallels 9 and then Windows 8.1 off of bootcamp. I wanted to keep using windows 7 but I was having resolution issues on my thunderbolt display. The installation seem to take a lot longer than it did off of a windows 7 bootcamp partition but I am not sure that means anything.

Anyways, the problem that I am having is that if I right mouse click the windows desktop the cursor starts spinning and keeps spinning. Sometimes 4-5 minutes later the menu will finally come up but most of the times it doesn't, the spinning cursor goes away and nothing happens. I have torn the VM down and recreated it and the problem remains. When booting straight into bootcamp it does not behave this way.

In the grand scheme of things this probably would be a minor issue but I have a tremor in my right hand and accidentally right click often and this is driving me nuts.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

    UPDATE:

Ok, I found the issue. I downloaded a shell editor and removed the Nvidia selection from the contextual menu. All is good now.
