First off I apologize for the noob questions. I’m a IT contractor and ran into a situation yesterday that had to do with a client’s MAC and he uses Parallels. Here’s the story…

I have to get an image of this client’s MAC and I use a Maxtor external hard drive to put all my images on. I use Ghost 8.0 on CD to create images, but Ghost in this matter did not detect my external hard drive. So I gave up on using Ghost and used Parallels to create an image. So far I’ve got the following files:
    • Clients Laptop (folder): 13.5 GB that consists of all of the client’s VM Windows XP applications
    • Winxp.hdd: HelloDOC Medical Software file by Imagine Editions
    • Winxp.pvs: Parallels Desktop for Mac Virtual Machine Configuration file by Parallels
    • Windows applications (folder): Consist of Windows applications in Aco’s laptop
    • DS_STORE File

How can I successfully recover the image from these files (if any of these files is the image I need)?

If none of these files is the image I need, how do I get the image using Ghost 8.0? Thanks for the help.
