FYI guys.. Great work on this release! You just made my life easier!

Quick note: When I installed WindowsXP (SP2) the first time it crashed my MacBookPro (blackscreen then reboot) when I tried to format the partition by selecting NTFS (Quick)

    I'm running a MacBookPro 2.0Ghz with firmware 1.0 (bootcamp release) with MacOS X 10.4.6 with 2 gigs of ram and 100gig 7200rpm.

    Hope this helps the beta.

    Second on this issue....

I made ths virtual HD 6 GB in Parallels... then I ran the XP install CD and when the blue screen came up it showed it as an unpartitioned 6 GB space, and so I did a partition, selected FAT (Quick) and got the same result. Anyone know what's up with this? Am I doing something wrong? Maybe someone on the Parallels team can help?

    MBP 1.83ghz 2.0gb ram

    Thanks

May be that's the problem of FAT ?

You can try to install WinXP on the NTFS partition - this file system is much more stable. I guess that this problem is somehow related to FAT. Try not to use it.
