I upgraded to Parallels Desktop for Mac v3188 yesterday. In my standard Ubuntu VM, I can now generate a repeatable crash of the VM and Parallels by starting jackd (the standard Linux audio connection framework) with any frames/second setting besides the standard 1024. To reproduce: * Install an Ubuntu VM * Install the "qjackctl" package * Start qjackctl (via "Applications" -> "Sound & Video" -> "JACK control") * Select "Setup" * Change "Frames/Second" to 256, 128, or 64. Select "OK" to close the setup menu. * Select the "Start" button. The VM and Parallels will crash in about 2 seconds every time in my configuration. This didn't happen on v1970. I'm curious if anyone else can repeat this crash behavior so as to make a nice simple test case for the Parallels team. If it can't be repeated, maybe there's additional characterization I can do to figure out if the problem is dependent on some some other local configuration. While there appear to be a fair number of 3188 complaints on these forums, Parallels crashes are probably a high priority to track down. Thanks.
Bumping post to test interest/response of improved Parallels engineering/support to a well-documented and repeatable crash of the Parallels application itself.
