    Hi!

Just got a brand new mac with Parallels. I am running Parallels build 3188 on Windows Vista Business. We have shared folders at the office, that I access through Parallels Shared Folders (psf). They're working fine, but there's one little thing that bugs me. I tested the connection, and left the name as "untitled". The problems are:

    1. I can't rename the untitled-folder.
    2. I can't create a new folder with a smarter name that points to the same location.

It's a small thing, but it irritates me greatly. Any ideas?

If I correctly understand, you need:
    1. Turn of VM
    2. In VM configuration remove Shared folder you want to rename ("untitled")
    3. Rename original folder (in your Mac's Finder)
    4. In VM configuration add new Shared folder you want
    5. Fire up VM back

I was even more stupid than I thought: I tried to rename the shared folder icon in Finder & Win Explorer. But I had failed to notice that there was a shared folders-settings window in Parallels... So the problem was solved from there easily. Renaming& even describing the contents.

    Silly me.

    :D
