Removing Parallels profile from Boot Camp Windows partition - strange problem

After trying to open Parallels from my Boot Camp Windows XP partition, I ran into all kinds of problems, so I deleted the Parallels profile within Windows. Now, when I try to boot Windows from my Boot Camp partition, I get two profiles to choose from: Windows XP Professional and the following:
/hal=halppvs_.dll

How do I delete this "profile" so that Boot Camp will always boot directly into the Windows XP Professional profile?
