I'm not quite sure this is the right place. It appears that Parallels may have installed a copy of Kaspersky Security in my machine (MBP with Mavericks, PDT, Win7). I keep getting a message to 'Activate" the Kaspersky, but the Activate button doesn't do anything and I don't want the Kaspersky anyhow. I have used the Kaspersky removal tool countless times, but every time I reboot the computer, I get the "Activate" message and the K in the Mac menu bar. I can't find it anywhere to use it, but keep getting this annoying message. It now tells me that my data base is not up to date. I've had the computer since November and want to install another AV program and dump Kaspersky. Please help. I just got another message that the update can't be completed, please activate.
