I seem to have acquired a virus that keep on generating warning messages that my machine is under attack and that i need to upgrade my Anti virus software, the warning messages are very persistent, my system has Norton 360 installed and cannot detect this rouge piece of software. Looking on the web i found several articles with links to Spyware Software that removes the software for free, but warns that in some cases you may have to load the PC in Safe mode. And this has now caused the second problem , when ever i try to load the parallels Virtual PC in Safe mode it appears to load the system as normal ... how can i select Safe Mode as per a real PC? The rouge software i seem to have acquired is smart to the fact that i am trying to erase it and is blocking the Spyware software from loading, and the information i have suggests the method to overcome this is to load the PC in Safe Mode.
