Remote Desktop -- Assistance Desired

Hi All:

I have Parallels 5.0 and while I love it, however, there are times when I would like to use the Mac Remote Desktop software. It seems however that anytime an RDC connection is initiated it gets forwarded to Parallels which in turn launches. I would like to just use the native version. FYI. I tried finding the standard file extension ".rdp" and telling the Mac OS to only use the native version of RDC when opening these files but that doesn't appeared to have solved the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried right-clicking on the .rdp file and choosing "Open With…" your Mac Remote Desktop app?
