I'm running a 2012 MBP with 16 GB of RAM and 3 monitors. I'm running the latest software of Parallels, OS X, and Windows 10. I was opening a new I.E. window when it just kind of went white and unresponsive. It stated Internet Explorer not responding. It let me close all my open windows including the failed attempt of opening a window. I tried from the start to open a new window and the progress indicator just spun and spun with nothing happening for minutes. I gave up and chose for Windows to restart. It proceeded to state it was restarting and the progress indicator just spun and spun. After a good 10 minutes of it not shutting off, I gave up and manually pushed the power button and powered off my Mac. I tried rebooting 2 separate times and both times Windows didn't open in Coherence mode. The only way to use windows was to leave Coherence. So I reinstalled Parallels Tools and all seems to be okay. But why did this happen? Geez, all these stupid issues upgrading to Parallels 11 and compounded with more issues upgrading to Windows 10. I have wasted so much time rebooting, reinstalling, combing through other threads and posting threads. Come on guys, this should be a better experience and so far it is horrible. Seems to be some sort of glitch every day or two. Most of the time a simple reboot fixes. Still....wasted productivity.
And as of today, I've tried reinstalling 3 times and coherence mode still doesn't work. This software sucks!
Hi All, I would like to let you know that we have already involved our Development in this case and they are currently working on the resolution.
Thanks for the update. And to update you, now when I go to print or save a pdf, the save or print screen box is not visible at all unless I leave coherence mode. I'm guessing part of the same issue and VERY frustrating.
