Hi I'm running the last few days of my PD evaluation period on a Mac Pro, hacked to legacy mode, hoping that I'll get a chance to check a fully compatible version before my time runs out . I have been trying to install Red Hat v7 from a CD set I've had for a while, and failing when it gets to the bit where I have to choose a video card option. I've looked everywhere for an indication as to what options to select, to no avail. I've tried a couple of options from the installer menu, but whenever I reach the XWindows set up phase it fails. Thinking maybe my Red Hat disks are a bit too old, I downlaoded the Fedora Core DVD image. But when I run the installer for that it fails the DVD integrity check and then crashes during the later phase of installation. I have managed to install a Ubuntu configuration, but I wanted a Red Hat VM for compatibility with a web server I help to administer. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what video settings I should select?
