I have been using Parallels 9 for Mac in a Win XP environment for months without any issues. I installed a new VM running Windows 8.1 Pro and a "Reclaim" has corrupted the VM twice. The first time I tried it, there was about 4 gigs to reclaim. After the reclaim, the VM would not boot. It kept booting to a shell with had no partition. I used a backup to restore the VM. Just tried it again, now with 10 gigs needed to reclaim. The same exact scenario. Boots to a shell, no Win 8.1 OS. Total garbage. So I guess I'll be rolling this one back too, and the VM is going grow beyond believe. This is very unfortunate. I may have to switch to VMWare. I can't live with this type of break-down. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, -Steve-
