I am having problems with reading a DVD with Suse 10.2 virtual machine on Macbook with Tiger 10.4. I needed to add a program to Suse with Yast, and it took several tries to before it could read the dvd. The automount came up and wanted to write a dvd as it thought the dvd was empty. Later I tried a DVD movie after I had Installed the updated Kaffeine with mplayer and libdvdcss. Again Linux sees an empty DVD. This all works fine on my Dell Latitude D820 and desktop wilth amd X64X2 running the same. Tried editing the .pvs file and changing the cdrom from DefaultCDROM to /dev/hdb which is what hardware said it was in OS X. Things only got worse. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Art
afore, there is an error in iso image processing. So automount wil not work. But I can access to my DVD drive if I mounted it as usual. #mount -t iso9660 /dev/hdb /media
