Hi Guys, Surely this has been discussed before. I have recently started using Mac (OS x 10.5.2) and using Parallel 3.0 to run Oracle on Windows. I am using shared networking and haven't really changed any of the configuration in Windows or in Mac. Everything works fine and both the OS can reach the internet and all when connected. My only problem has been the dynamic ip that gets assigned when I get connected to the internet from different places i.e. at home or office. At the moment, I am doing an ipconfig in the Windows host to get the IP of the machine so that I can connect to oracle from Mac OS applications. But the IP of Windows as well as Mac changes every time I connect to the internet either from home or in office. Is there any way to make the IP static or somehow reach my guest Windows OS services like oracle in an easier way with a static IP? Any help will be much appreciated. Kind regards, Anjan
