When I went in to start Parallels, I got a message that I don't know how to proceed. It said "Currently opened virtual machine does not include any boot devices. In order to be successfully booted the virtual machine should have at least one of the following devices attached: floppy disk drive, hard disk drive, CD/DVD-ROM drive."
It does not matter which configuration I choose, it can not boot. It fails in all sequences. If I put in the Windows XP CD I will loose some of the stuff in windows- which I can't do. What else can I do?

    Hello Wearespirit,

Could you please give more details?
Do you have a new virtual machine with Windows installed?
When exactly did you start getting the error?
What Parallels Desktop build are you using? What are your Host and Guest OS? Mac model?

    Best regards,
    Xenos
