Sorry, if this has already been answered, but if it has, I haven't been able to find it (and I have searched). I just upgraded to v3 today, hoping that one of the problems I had with my Ubuntu Feisty Fawn installation in v2.5 would go away, but unfortunately it didn't. I have a first generation Macbook Pro with 2GB RAM. I have set aside ca. 1.4 GB for Parallels, and I was hoping for around 750 MB RAM for the virtual Linux machine. I have however never succeeded in booting with more than 600 MB of RAM. The machine simply stops booting (the black screen continues to be black). Is there some RAM limitation with linux which I haven't heart of? Has anyone been able to use more RAM with linux? Hope someone can help Kind regards Filologen
