I am using Parallels build 1970 with Windows XP and Quickbooks Pro 2005. MacBook Pro 2.33Ghz Core 2 Duo, OS 10.4.8. When trying to download banking info using the 'Online Banking Center' it takes 5-15 minutes for the screen to come up. Using build 1940 everything was great. It took about the same time as it does on the PC hosting the data file. It only took a few seconds. Ever since build 1970, it takes SOOO LOOONG and sometimes it just aborts. This takes just as long as it did on my G5 iMac with Microsoft VirtualPC. Ditching VirtualPC is the reason I upgraded to the MacBook Pro and bought Parallels. What a bummer! I get the dreaded '(Not Responding)' from Quickbooks Pro and the egg timer icon. Any ideas?
